- Setting Stones: Gemstones, such as diamonds, are set into the jewelry piece, either in prongs, bezels, or other types of settings.
- Finishing: The jewelry is then polished, brushed, or otherwise finished to give it the desired appearance and texture.
- Quality Control: The final product is inspected and tested to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Design: Jewelry designers create sketches or computer-aided designs (CAD) of the jewelry pieces they want to make.
- Model Making: The design is then turned into a model, which can be made of wax, resin, or other materials. The model is used to create a mold for the final jewelry piece.
- Casting: Molten metal is poured into the mold and allowed to cool, creating a metal replica of the model. This is called casting. The casting is then cleaned and refined.
